About

Right now I build the candidate-to-company matching engine at RemoteStar, an AI hiring platform: LLM scoring, semantic search, and the product surfaces around it. Before that I built component systems at PRED.

On the side I contribute to CNCF Headlamp, the Kubernetes web UI, and run frontend for PointBlank, my college's coding club.

I care about the seams. Page transitions that don't lie about what loaded, type that holds its color in dark mode, 3D scenes that don't cost the user their battery.

Experience

  • RemoteStar · SDE Intern

    Mar – Nov 2025 · Mar 2026 – Present
    • Designed and shipped a production candidate-to-company matching engine using LLM scoring and Pinecone semantic search, with function-aware scoring across real open roles.
    • Built a weekly BD-signals pipeline processing ~16,000 jobs across ~2,000 companies: freshness filtering, deduplication, change detection, role filtering, automated staleness handling.
    • Reduced matching backfill costs to ~$10 with an OpenAI company-size pre-filter; fixed production LLM timeouts by moving long-running work to a background queue with bounded polling.
    • Built MPC profiles, job citations, redacted CVs, and outreach tooling in Next.js/React; implemented Apollo contact discovery with SignalHire fallback and caching, and owned CI/CD and production backfills.
    Stack: TypeScript · Express · MongoDB · Next.js · OpenAI · Pinecone
  • PRED (PangoLabs) · SDE Intern

    Nov 2025 – Mar 2026
    • Built production-ready interfaces with React + Vite, Tailwind CSS, and Zustand, translating Figma designs into reusable responsive components.
    • Integrated frontend applications with backend services using React Query: cached data fetching, loading states, resilient API-driven UI.
    • Developed reusable components and interaction patterns focused on maintainability, consistency, and responsive behavior.
Stack: React · Vite · Zustand · React Query · Tailwind CSS

Open Source — CNCF Headlamp

10+ merged contributions to kubernetes-sigs/headlamp, the official Kubernetes web UI maintained by the CNCF / SIG-UI working group.

Areas: CRD list components, the resource-map relations graph, router internals, units helpers, resource tables, API-discovery logging, the story-test layer. TypeScript, React, React Testing Library.
